Description:
Slash Fiction was the winning entry made for the Gibson: Go for the Gold Slash Model Les Paul guitar contest. This short was shot at Atlanta Discount Music. It took us about 2.5 hours to shoot. I was assisted by members of the band Soul Stash. The film was mostly shot by me but Joel Williams, of Soul Stash ran camera's while I acted. And he did a hell of a job working his way into the trunk of my car so we could get that opening shot! My duties for this film also included, writing, story boarding, directing, editing & special FX. Post production included, editing, special FX, rendering & uploading to You Tube. This took 14 hours. I did it all in one sitting on a rainy Sunday. It was a lot of work, but I loved it. I suppose I should give myself a stunt credit in there as well. Not much of a stunt, but the shot where I'm flailing my arms like a Matrix Agent, took about 3 takes. I pushed it to the limit every time & ended up having to catch myself. All in all it was a fun shoot. And wow, I ended up with a hell of a guitar Slash Fiction - A Film by Tony Castelluci Slash - Tanner Hendon Joel Williams - Store Clerk & Camera Clay Houle - Thug#2 Marshall Coats - Thug#1 & Additional Creative Content
